PROCESS AUTOMATION ENGINEER - FOOD PROCESSING INDUSTRY

Our partner, a global automation company, is currently establishing a new team that will be focused on supporting and delivering Process (PlantPAx) Projects across EMEA. This team will be based in office in Prague, supporting Industries such as: Life Sciences, Chemical, Food & Beverages. This position is ideal for a junior, a fresh graduate of bachelor´s program with 1-2 years of experience in this sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Member of a project team tasked with delivering Process projects on PlantPAx DCS
  • Design, Implementation and Testing of control system software including control modules, equipment modules, equipment phases, graphics, alarms, safety interlocks etc.
  • Generating detailed design documents and qualification documents
  • Ensure that automation systems and associated documents are designed in compliance with all relevant GMP standards


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science with a focus towards Automation & Control. E.g., Electrical, Instrumentation or Mechatronics (required)
  • Experience delivering Process Control Systems with PlantPAx is highly desirable
  • Experience in PLC, HMI, SCADA is required
  • Knowledge of Batch Process Control, ISA-S88 standard programming
  • Knowledge and experience of GAMP, 21 CFR Part 11, ASTM E2500, GMP, etc. highly desirable
  • Languages: communicative English (required)
  • Legal authorization to work in the EU and UK
  • Willingness to work & travel across EMEA when required, more than 40%
