Our client is a global energy trading company with a strong technical culture and lean, cross-functional teams. They are currently looking for a specialist to take ownership of and improve the billing process — a role positioned at the intersection of finance, technology, and automation.
This is not a traditional finance role. It’s about writing scripts, streamlining processes, and working closely with developers to make billing scalable and efficient.
What you'll do:
Own the billing process across regions (100M+ EUR annually).
Use Python & SQL to automate and improve workflows.
Coordinate billing setups for new products.
Collaborate with DEV, Finance, Reporting & Compliance.
Translate business needs into technical solutions.
You are:
Experienced (2–4 years) in finance, reporting, or operations.
Comfortable coding in Python and working with SQL.
Curious, proactive, and eager to build—not just maintain—processes.
Fluent in English and confident working across teams.
